In order to eat fresh fruits and vegetables, its good to know when what is availble fresh.
Also, when possible, choose locally grown organic produce. 
Here is a seasonality chart that will help you in purchasing high quality, and 
reasonably priced produce. This chart could be slightly different in your part of the
